Three easy steps from finding the optimal residence in an optimal location
Acquire a residence with the aesthetics desired nearest the locations one visits the most ~ Friends, family, place of employment, local pub, nearby gym, park, pool

A mash up web site, Six Degrees of Freedom draws daily from Craig's List, all available apartment postings that come equipped with an address. With tools provided by Google My Maps, Six Degrees of Freedom allows those seeking residence the ability to better determine...
1. WHAT TO FIND ~ residences for sale, rent, and sublet with features you seek

2. WHAT TO BE NEAR ~ map the addresses of multiple locations of interest one would wish to possibly live near

3. THE BEST DATABASE OF LISTINGS ~ provides the capability of seeing optimum spaces standing side-by-side optimum locations

Finally, just mouse click any location to reveal more detailed information on a given space, including photos, further description of the property, and landlord/seller contact information

My successes as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Siberia were realized by nurturing the powers of social capital ~ cultivated by effectively selecting a residence within close proximity to a community of my choosing.
Everyone faces the difficult experience of reestablishing community after moving to a new residence. The creation of this web site (and its additional phases of improvement) is my attempt to address this difficulty. I hope users find this website unique in its ability allowing users to select the best possible residence in an established community of their choosing. I also hope this website helps to accomplish the third goal of Peace Corps; introducing to America a quality feature of life made apparent during a volunteer’s tenure in the Peace Corps.
Sincerely
William Steel
PS: Why Six Degrees of Freedom?
Having spent almost my entire life within, beside, or under water, I have come to understand the blessings associated with freedom of movement, especially the six directional kind achieved only while underwater (errata ~ or in outer space). Playing off the cliché "six degrees of separation", I firmly believe that stronger associations with others can be achieved most opportunistically by establishing closer proximity. Such proximity enhances freedom by opening up opportunities for different methods of travel, times of arrival, locations to meet, etc. The resulting strength of association can only enhance individual perspective and collective coordination. The many freedoms are innumerable, much the same as the six degrees of freedom inured underwater.
